The BBC has some brilliant pages for kids like this one where you can help to build a stone circle and learn more about Skara Brae, a Neolithic settlement in Orkney, Scotland.

Places to visit

Britian has a huge number of stone age monuments, generic cytotec online although some of them can be a little hard to interpret. Here are some of the best preserved ones.

Skara Brae in Orkney is an amazingly preserved Neolithic village. Orkney is also home to a huge number of amazing Neolithic sites including stone circles and weird tombs.

Stonehenge.

Avebury stone circle.

Cresswell Crags in Nottinhamshire, are well worth a visit – this site is much older than any of the others and you can see art drawn by hunter gatherers during the ice age.
